How we handle your information
Short version: we only use what you give us to reach out about TBT, and we never sell or share it with third parties. Here's the fuller picture.
When you fill out a sign-up form (to join TBT, update your info, sign up for a Quad or Home Group, or request prayer), we collect whatever you enter — typically your name, phone number, email, and any message you include. These forms are hosted by Planning Center's Church Center platform, not directly on this website.
We use your information only to communicate with you about TBT — following up on a form, adding you to a group, or responding to a request. That's it. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or share it with third-party marketers.
If you text one of our team numbers, that message goes to a real person on our team — not an automated system — and is used only to have that conversation with you.
On the prayer wall we store what you type: your name as you enter it (first name, and last name if you give one) or "Anonymous," your request, an optional topic, and when you sent it. If you mark a request answered, we also store your update and the date. Requests you share on the wall are public and come off the wall after 30 days (answered ones stay up to two weeks after they are marked answered). Requests marked team only are not shown on this site, and only Pastor Bruce and the TBT team can read them. For those we require your first and last name so the team can reach you. After you post, you get a private link that lets you mark your request answered or remove it. We keep only a scrambled version of that link, so we can't see it. Your name is shown on the wall unless you post as Anonymous. We don't ask for your email or phone number here, and we ask you not to include them. A weekly email summary of the public requests, with the names shown on the wall, goes to TBT leaders. Requests are kept in a Google Sheet that the TBT team controls. This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
